“Healing our Well-Being” Workshop: A day of Self-Care and Connection

Join us for a transformative day of relaxation, creativity, and healing! SAMA invites you to our "Healing Our Well-Being" workshop—a unique experience designed to nourish your mind, body, and soul. Escape the stresses of everyday life and embrace a day filled with mindfulness, beauty, and connection. 

What to Expect:

  • Yoga: Begin your day with a grounding yoga session led by a certified instructor. This gentle practice is suitable for all levels and will help you find calm, release tension, and feel more present in your body.

  • Sound Healing Meditation: Experience the transformative power of sound as you are immersed in the soothing vibrations of sound healing. Let the gentle tones of singing bowls and other instruments help you achieve deep relaxation and mental clarity.

  • Qi GongA powerful ancient Asian energy practice, involves gentle movements, breath control, and meditation to balance and enhance the flow of energy (or “qi”) throughout the body. It helps improve flexibility, strength, and mental clarity while promoting emotional harmony and inner peace. Combined with breathwork techniques, which use conscious breathing to release stress and boost overall well-being, qi gong will offer you the tools to connect deeply with your mind, body, and soul. Whether you’re seeking to relieve stress, increase vitality, or deepen your spiritual connection, this practice is designed to help you find greater alignment and peace within yourself. 

  • Makeup Artistry for Self-Expression: Explore the art of makeup as a form of self-love and creative expression. Whether you prefer a natural look or something bold, our makeup artist will guide you through techniques to help you feel beautiful and empowered.

  • Bracelet Making: Get creative with jewelry making by designing a bracelet that holds special meaning for you. Choose from a selection of beads, charms, and materials to craft a one-of-a-kind piece that inspires strength and resilience.

  • Floral Bouquet Crafting: Create your own beautiful floral bouquet with the guidance of a floral designer. Design a unique arrangement that represents growth, healing, and personal beauty—something you can take home to brighten your space.


What to Bring?

Please bring your own yoga mat, makeup & brushes, and a small mirror. 
We are also having a raffle! If you'd like to bring items for our hygiene kits, you'll receive a raffle ticket. Every 5 items is equal to 1 raffle ticket! These hygiene kits will be going to survivors who are either in shelters or those who are seeking resources at SAMA. For information on hygiene kits, please visit www.sama-sama.org/resources.
